Some songs aren’t just songs, they become part of your life. Waves is one of those tracks. Over the past decade, I’ve seen it resonate with people in ways I never expected, from beach clubs to late-night drives, massive festivals to personal moments that stick with you forever.

For years, I was careful about how Waves was reimagined. I turned away countless remixes and edits because nothing truly captured the essence of the original. But then, at a club in Dubai, I heard a version that stopped me in my tracks. It felt different, fresh, yet familiar. It had heart and soul.

I had to know who was behind it. Turns out, it was a Swiss DJ named :DARREN, who had created his own take out of pure love for the song. Seeing how much Waves still means to so many, we decided to bring this version to life together. After months of working on it, the result is something I’m truly proud of.

Now, 10 years after its first release, I’m excited to share this new official remix with you all.
